2026 Summer Voyage to Southern California
The Golden Rule and Crew are Ready! However, significant weather delays are occurring right now.
The VFP Golden Rule Committee plans to bring the Golden Rule to 12 ports-of-call this summer.
However, weather on the Pacific Coast has been wild this season. After arriving in Fort Bragg, we are waiting for a huge, strong storm to let up a bit before proceeding south.
An optimistic schedule is set out below – note that the order of stops / dates for Ensenada, San Diego and Oceanside all depend on when the storm breaks. And the rest of the schedule may also shift and stops may be canceled – stay tuned for more information here and in our eNews.
This sailing schedule is, as usual, dependent on the weather and crew needs.

Resolutions in Support of Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons
Cities, counties and states are adopting resolutions to support the U.N. Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW). For example, the California Legislature approved this resolution: California TPNW Resolution. Please encourage your city, county and state to do the same!
